1. Product Introduction
Potassium fulvate from mineral sources is a water-soluble black powder. It is a plant growth regulator that promotes plant growth, plays an important role in drought resistance, enhances plant stress resistance, increases yield, and improves quality.
2. Product Function
(1)Water Retention
potassium fulvate, a colloidal organic substance, loosens the soil, absorbs a large amount of water, improves aeration and humidity, prevents drought, and creates favorable water, air, and heat conditions for seed germination and seedling growth.
(2)Improvement of Saline-Alkali Soil
With its small molecular weight and high activity, potassium fulvate can adsorb harmful cations in the soil, thereby reducing the salt concentration and minimizing the damage of salts to seeds and seedlings, thus improving saline-alkali soil.
(3)Drought and Cold Resistance
Spraying potassium fulvate onto plant leaves causes stomata to close, reducing transpiration. Its dark color also facilitates solar energy absorption. Furthermore, the decomposition of potassium fulvate by microorganisms releases heat, raising soil temperature and thus contributing to cold resistance.
(4)Pest and Disease Resistance
potassium fulvate increases the activity of enzymes in plants, enhancing their overall resistance.
(5)Prevention of Heavy Metal Pollution
Mineral-derived potassium fulvate participates in ion exchange reactions in the soil, adsorbing and fixing heavy metal ions to prevent them from entering the biological cycle.
(6)Improved Fertilizer Efficiency:
①Nitrogen Fixation: Adsorbs nitrogen in the soil, reducing its volatilization and loss, thus improving utilization.
②Phosphorus Solubilization: Through chelation with phosphorus, it releases phosphorus from the soil for plant absorption, improving phosphorus utilization.
③Potassium Activation: Through ion exchange, it converts insoluble potassium into soluble potassium, increasing available potassium in the soil and improving potassium utilization.
④Micronutrients: It can chelate with insoluble micronutrients to form humic acid micronutrient chelates that are easily absorbed by crops, thus facilitating root and leaf absorption of micronutrients.
(7)Promotion of Crop Growth and Development
Mineral-derived potassium fulvate stimulates root growth, ultimately greatly enhancing the crop’s ability to absorb water and nutrients, resulting in vigorous growth of the above-ground parts of the plant. This is reflected in increased plant height, stem thickness, and leaf thickness, effectively promoting tillering, reducing empty grain rate, increasing thousand-grain weight, and increasing grain yield.
(8)Regulating Soil pH
Mineral-derived potassium fulvate has numerous functional groups, allowing it to bind with both acids and alkalis, thus regulating soil pH according to crop needs.
